This includes offering a diverse curriculum that covers classical, modern and contemporary works in both Indian and Western philosophy. The department is dedicated to creating an inclusive academic environment that stimulates intellectual curiosity, ethical values, critical thinking, reasoning and a yearning for lifelong learning. However the department is yet to organize its departmental seminar. The significant achievement of the department is the publication of the departmental magazine.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">The future plan of the department for the next five year is:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">1. Introducing Honours courses in Philosophy from the forthcoming session.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">2. Participation in Faculty Development Programme to enrich knowledge and skill of the faculty member.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">3. To give more emphasis on organizing seminars and workshop on their syllabus oriented topics and also out of syllabus for their total improvement of knowledge.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">4. To make the students socially responsible by involving them in different kinds of activities such as NSS, etc.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">5. Buying of books and reference for the department.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">6. Organising counselling programmes and Mental Health Awareness Programmes in the college for the students.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">7. To inspire and motivate students about the usefulness of learning Philosophy within and beyond the academic field-for the improvement of quality and whole vision of life.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: medium;">8.
